STOWE is 40 miles from the Burlington International Airport (code BTV). International visitors also fly to Boston, Manchester NH, Albany NY, New York City or Montreal and rent a car or take a taxi (see below).

If you prefer not to rent a car in Burlington you can take a taxi. (see below) To get to the slopes you can use the ski shuttle bus that stops at the house hourly.

Private planes can be flown to Montpelier Airport (30 miles drive) and Morrisville-Stowe Airport (5 miles drive)

Bus Travel to Stowe The Vermont Transit bus station is in Waterbury, Vermont near the Amtrak station. Purchase tickets through Greyhound when you are outside of Vermont. Montpelier ticket office 802-223-7112.

IF YOU TAKE THE TRAIN...

Amtrak's rail line from New York City to Montreal, Quebec stops at Waterbury, Vermont. If you come without a car you can use the ski shuttle bus that stops hourly to get to the ski area. Car rental and taxi service to STOWE is available (see below).
